Arriving at Sacha Lodge by dug-out canoe.

The journey to Sacha Lodge from Quito involved a 30 mins flight by executive jet, a 15-minute bus ride, a 2.5-hour river boat journey, a half hour boardwalk trek and, finally, a 15-minute ride in a dug-out canoe.
