SVALBARD (SPITZBERGEN) 2006

Barbecue night.

On the foredeck that evening the crew created a marvellous BBQ as the ship was at anchor in the pack ice with a view of the 5km wide Monacobreen (glacier). This just followed our first Polar Bear sighting, albeit distantly, over the pack ice.
